Before starting my own firm, I had the privilege of serving as in-house counsel for a hospital system, providing legal services for an acute care facility and several critical access hospitals. During this time, I gained invaluable experience navigating the complex healthcare regulatory environment and supporting healthcare operations in everything from compliance to contract negotiations. My hands-on experience makes me uniquely qualified to help healthcare organizations stay compliant, protect their interests, and operate efficiently.

In a pivotal career moment, I turned down a Chief Legal Officer position with a large hospital system in Missouri to bet on myself. I recognized a gap in the market—smaller healthcare organizations often get caught in limbo where they can’t afford outside counsel but don’t require the full-time support of in-house counsel. I created Hurley Law Group to fill that gap and provide high-quality legal services at an affordable rate.
